Personal Statement
Clodia has called Edmonton home since she immigrated in 2008. She is a professional civil engineer with 24 years of experience in project management and a master’s in business administration. She is also a business owner and a certified interior designer with a creative eye and attention to detail.
Clodia strongly advocates for equality, diversity, and justice and believes in giving back to the community. She also believes in making things better for the next generation by building strong communities, fostering innovation, and creating a better future.
Clodia has always volunteered with different organizations, from Habitat for Humanity, where she built houses for low-income families, to Windmill Microlending, where she mentors professional immigrants like herself to integrate into the Canadian workforce. Clodia is also a board director for the Edmonton Food Bank and advocates policies to support and serve vulnerable populations.
Clodia volunteered as an ambassador for APEGA on the Edmonton Design Committee, where she advanced urban design excellence by offering subject matter expertise, safeguarding public safety, maintaining professional standards, and promoting community growth and innovative development.
Clodia's motto is: "Our actions today profoundly shape the world our children and grandchildren will inherit."

As former chair of the Edmonton Executive Branch and a board member with the Edmonton Food Bank, I offer leadership experience to strengthen APEGA’s mission, ensuring accountability and public trust while advancing engineering and geoscience professions.
