  • APEGA Registrar and CEO Appointed to Foreign Credential Advisory Committee

    On July 4, 2024, the Government of Alberta appointed 13 members to the newly established Foreign Credential Advisory Committee, including APEGA’s Registrar and CEO Jay Nagendran, P.Eng. This committee will provide recommendations to the GOA on how to improve foreign credential assessment and recognition for all regulated professions.

  • Councillor Resignation and New Appointment

    To ensure our regulatory oversight remains comprehensive so we can continue protecting Albertans from unethical and unlicensed practice, APEGA Council has made the difficult decision to increase registrant and permit holder dues for a second year, effective July 1, 2024.
