Permit holders and internationally trained professionals are invited to fill out a short survey from the Foreign Credentials Advisory Committee (FCAC) by January 17, 2025.

The FCAC was established by the Government of Alberta in 2024 and tasked with providing recommendations to support a more efficient and effective system for recognizing foreign credentials in Alberta. APEGA Registrar and CEO, Jay Nagendran, P.Eng., FCAE, ICD.D, FEC, FGC (Hon.), sits as a member of this committee, ensuring that the engineering and geoscience professions are represented.

The survey was developed by Pivotal Research, a Canadian independent research firm, and should take approximately 10 minutes. All responses are confidential and will help inform recommendations for improving the experience of internationally trained professionals in Alberta.
