About the speaker
Alessia D'Aversa is a senior associate at Whitelaw Twining LLP. Graduating with honours from the University of Calgary in 2015 before pursuing her Juris Doctor degree at Thompson Rivers University, Alessia has experience representing both employer and employee disputes in the Court of Justice, Alberta King's Bench, and at the Human Rights Tribunal. Called to the Bar in Alberta in 2019 and Saskatchewan in 2022, Alessia is familiar and remains up to date on all employment-related issues.
Jeremy Ellergodt is a partner at Whitelaw Twining LLP with more than a decade of experience. Jeremy is called to the Bar in Saskatchewan, Alberta, the Yukon, and the Northwest Territories. He has advocated in front of the courts of all provinces and territories he is called in and has appeared in front of the Saskatchewan and Alberta Courts of Appeal. Jeremy specializes in complex, multi-party construction disputes where he has represented engineers and design professionals on numerous occasions. Additionally, he has represented an array of clients on complex employment-related issues.
