A Primer on AI and Cybercrime
With the axioms of artificial intelligence and machine learning occupying much of the rhetoric in today’s cybersecurity speak, it goes without saying that the ‘bad guys’ also get to use that type of computer and technology to continue to be adversarial—whether it be for one’s personal finances, corporate finances, or worse yet, to impact the cyber-physical world where IT has converged with operations. Ken’s presentation will introduce AI and its increasing role in society, from healthcare to finance and beyond, and mention how, while AI is a force for good, it also has the potential to be misused in the world of crime.
