Webinar | Let’s Go Nuclear: The Future of Fission in Alberta, Canada, and the World
Nuclear energy is one of the largest sources of zero-emissions energy worldwide and is by far the densest form of energy we have. Canada is a Tier 1 nuclear country with 19 operating reactors using domestic CANDU technology and several new reactors under development. Recently, Alberta has begun exploring nuclear energy in the form of small modular reactors and large reactors. This talk will include an overview of nuclear energy globally to put Canada and Alberta in context and discuss what the future of nuclear energy might look like in the province.
Brought to you by the Edmonton Branch. Everyone is welcome to attend.
