Many successful professionals are stressed and frustrated with finances: after long and full careers of concentrating on what they excel in, they realize that they did not give their finances the required energy and attention.

This presentation is designed to help professional members reduce the stress and frustration associated with uncertainty in their finances. By engineering a fulfilling retirement, they can unlock choices in life, reduce stress by gaining clarity on their finances, and ultimately make life more enjoyable. This presentation describes specific concepts and concerns related to professional members, with a full-term case study that would represent a typical professional career. The following topics will be covered:

  • the financial planning process and how it can be used to improve your work/life balance and quality of life, by removing stress.
  • government retirement benefits (CPP/OAS): how they work and how they can contribute significantly to your financial well-being. Cost/benefit analysis and considerations for when to start taking these incomes.
  • risk management, in terms of income protection, and how it can bring peace of mind.
  • the logistics of Wealth Management and all that it entails.

This session will be held through ON24.
