About the Presenters

Aliesha Hart Stone is the equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) manager with APEGA and manages initiatives working Aliesha-Hart-Stone-Headshottowards advancing inclusion within the engineering and geoscience professions. She holds a bachelor of arts honours degree in women’s and gender studies with the University of Alberta. She began her career in advocacy and social services working for Alberta non-profits fostering inclusion and belonging for equity-seeking communities. Aliesha has an extensive background in stakeholder engagement and led an EDI-focused initiative bridging the unemployment gap for youth with developmental disabilities. She is passionate about advancing opportunities for women and all equity-deserving groups in our communities.
