Inquiries

If you have questions or need additional information prior to submitting a complaint, please send an inquiry to APEGA’s Investigations Department. Inquiries are not considered to be formal complaints and are kept confidential (unless prohibited by law).

Submitting Complaints Against Members or Permit Holders

APEGA will review all written complaints against APEGA members and permit holders. Members include professional members, licensees, certificate holders, and members-in-training.

If your complaint involves a dispute, consider speaking with the member or permit holder about your concerns. Discussing the issue in an open and respectful way can often resolve the issue. If you are unsure about how to proceed, please contact APEGA’s Investigations Department for more information.

Before submitting a complaint, please confirm that the person or company is licensed by APEGA.

If the person or company is not licensed but is using reserved title (e.g. P.Eng, P.Geo.) or offering engineering and/or geoscience services, please follow APEGA’s unlicensed practice process to submit a complaint.
