Dues Reduction
Members can request a reduction of their APEGA membership dues if they fall within one of the categories listed below. Members who qualify will receive a 75 per cent reduction (pay only 25 per cent) of the full amount of the invoice of their annual membership dues. Dues reduction requests should be completed in myAPEGA before the current invoice due date.
IMPORTANT: Dues reduction requests received after the due date of the current invoice will not be approved.
Please note that applying for special consideration or changing your status to non-practising does not change the amount of your membership dues. Your dues can only be reduced if you apply and receive approval for a dues reduction. If you are unable to meet your Continuing Professional Development Program requirements, please contact the Professional Practice department at [email protected]. Unless indicated below, a non-practising declaration is not required for a dues reduction.
Members-in-training are listed as non-practising and are exempt from the CPD program. Therefore, members-in-training do not need to submit a request for special consideration.
To apply for dues reduction, please log into myAPEGA. Once you are logged in, please click the Finance Centre tab, and choose the dues reduction category in the drop down menu. Please do so before submitting payment for your annual membership dues as this option is only available to eligible members with an outstanding dues invoice that is not past due. APEGA does not accept pro-rated calculations.
Please be advised that once your dues are paid, we cannot refund them. If you are applying under the Health or Disability or under the Post-Graduate Studies category, you will be required to upload supporting documentation through the myAPEGA portal.
Eligibility Requirements
To receive a reduction on your annual dues, you must meet one of the requirements below. Members who are asked to complete exams by APEGA are not eligible.
