Medicine Hat Branch

Message from the Chair

Welcome to our APEGA Medicine Hat Branch page! Through years of volunteering for APEGA, there is an understanding of the importance of the local Branch’s role in fostering collaboration among members and promoting the advancement of engineering and geoscience knowledge and practices within our communities. The Medicine Hat Branch aims to further strengthen our local engineering and geoscience impact on Medicine Hat, in addition to providing valuable opportunities for professional growth and development. In 2024, our Branch Executive is advancing a business plan that encompasses Regulatory Excellence, Trust and Relevance, and Performance Culture through organization of local professional development opportunities, collaboration with other local innovation and STEM based organizations, education, and outreach.

Our Branch Executives are looking forward to the challenges of 2024 and invite any APEGA members to join our regular monthly meetings (in-person or virtually), volunteer for outreach and education events, or participate in the local professional development opportunities. Please reach out to us at [email protected] or find us on Facebook at APEGA Medicine Hat Branch.

Branch Executive

APEGA’s branch executive committees are an integral part of APEGA operations and are governed by the branch manual. The committee includes up to 15 appointed volunteers, including members-at-large and five core positions: chair, past-chair, vice-chair, treasurer, and secretary. The branch chair is responsible for running the branch. To ensure consistency among branches, chairs from all branches meet quarterly to discuss branch governance and business.

Branch Executive Applications Are Open
